October 3rd: School Pictures

Chromebooks

The student Chromebooks have arrived and are being set up for student use! Soon each student will have an assigned Chromebook to keep with them throughout the school day. If you give your child permission to bring the Chromebook home to use for homework (forms will be sent home where you'll be able to indicate this), it will be important that you have a charger at home so that the Chromebook is fully charged for the following school day. More information on this to come. 
 

Point Bonita Overnight Field Trip (Deposit due 10/17)

The first deposit which will secure a spot for your child on the trip will be due to homeroom teachers by Tuesday, October 17th. This $100 deposit will only be refundable up to 90 days before the trip (except in cases of illness with a doctor's note). The trip costs $400 (maximum) per student, which we will be collecting in the form of the deposit plus three additional installments. We will be deducting the amount fundraised from the final payment, so please continue to support our overnight trip fundraising events such as Dine Out Nights so that we can lower the cost of the trip for all families. We will let you know how much our fundraising was able to lower the cost per student before we ask for the fourth and final payment. More detailed information about Point Bonita and the process for applying to be a chaperone will be sent out as soon as the last of the trip logistics are finalized.

We would love paper towel donations to help clean up after activities and labs in science as well as latex-free gloves if anyone has some they are willing to donate.
